Calabar runs the 8th fastest high school 4x100 at the Penn Relays. Their victory ties them for the most ever Championship of America titles in this distance at 9 along with Mercersburg Academy (PA), Boys (NY) and Camperdown (Jamaica). Archbishop John Carroll ran the fastest US high school time here at the Penn Relays with their second place finish of 40.02. Calabar won their 9th 4x100 Championship of America relay wheel in dominant fashion. Shaquane Gordan claimed the lead for Calabar on the backstretch and clean handoffs on the final two exchanges secured their win. A hard charging Archbishop John Carroll anchor Jake Odey-Jordan, who quickly sped past Jamaica College's Kyle Bodden after the final exchange, tried to close the gap on Calabar's anchor Khamani Gordon but could not catch them in time. Archbishop John Carroll finished as the runner-up honors in 40.04, the fastest time for an American quartet in the event.
